A collared kurta in Jamun silk with dolman sleeves and a colour-block hem in Scarlet, the red running round the back and up inside the cuffs and under the collar. Turn the sleeves back and the red shows; leave them down and it is a purple kurta with a red hem. Side slits and a stepped hem keep it easy over the salwar pants. Purple and red is a festive pairing that has been done for generations, and it still works. Crafted in India from 100% pure silk, with a fluid drape and a natural sheen.
