FAQ
Orders
NEW////COMMON is a discovery front door — each brand runs its own checkout, fulfilment, and delivery. When you find a piece, you proceed to that brand's checkout directly. Your order lives with the brand.
Each brand operates its own checkout independently. Ordering from two brands means two separate checkouts and two separate orders — each confirmed and fulfilled by its own atelier.
The brand does. New Common is where you discover the work; the brand is where the order lives, ships, and resolves.

Brands
NEW////COMMON is home to curated independent Indian ateliers — founder-led labels selected for design originality, quality of craft, and a coherent point of view. Every brand on New Common has been reviewed by New Common.
New Common reviews each applicant for design originality, quality of craft, and a point of view that stands on its own. Curation is editorial.

No. Brands on New Common operate their own channels too. New Common is the discovery front door, not an exclusive.
The Movements
The Movements are five editorial frameworks through which New Common organizes independent Indian fashion. They are points of view, not categories: Heritage Labs, Jo Hukm, Bambai Beats, Third Culture, and The Utilitarian.
Heritage Labs is craft as the cloth itself — the handloom, the block-print, the natural dye, the Adivasi embroidery ARE the design. Labels where the making is the point.
Jo Hukm is couture that owns the room. Fashion as declaration — built for presence, worn without apology.
Bambai Beats is the street. The city as studio, the informal as the new formal — born from urban India, worn without explanation.
Third Culture is belonging everywhere at once. Fashion that holds Bandra and Brooklyn in the same room — for the reader who does not need the work explained.
The Utilitarian is the everyday piece, stripped to what works. Designed to be worn, not displayed — the wardrobe that outlasts every season.
