How it works

New Common is a curated place to discover independent fashion brands. When you want a piece, we send you to the brand's own store to buy it. We are not the seller.

Who is responsible

The brand you buy from is the seller. It sets the price, description, sizing, shipping and return policy, takes your payment, ships your order and handles returns and refunds, under its own terms. If something arrives wrong or doesn't arrive, the brand sorts it out. If a brand doesn't answer you, email naman@newcommon.com, and we will contact them. We cannot issue a brand's refund for them.

Returns and made-to-order pieces

Each brand sets its own return policy, shown on its store before you buy. Whether you can return a made-to-order piece depends on the brand and the law where you live.

Using the site

• You must be 18 or over to create an account. Keep your sign-in to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
• The site's design, writing, photography and editorial are ours or our partners', and are for your personal use. Don't copy, scrape, harvest, or reuse them, or use automated tools to collect data from the site, without our written permission.
• Don't misuse the site: no interfering with how it works, no attempts to get around its security, and nothing unlawful.
• We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Editorial content

Our writing and Movement features are there to help you find things, not as a guarantee. We try to keep them accurate. Where we earn from a brand, we say so in our affiliate disclosure.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or knock-on losses from using the site, relying on editorial content, or a purchase from a brand. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law where you live, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you before it takes effect, and you can close your account.

The law that applies

The laws of the United Arab Emirates govern these terms. If you are a consumer, you also have the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts. For a product you bought, the brand's own terms apply.
