It is then over-dyed in 100% madder to establish the base pink. Each piece is carefully hand-resisted using the traditional Japanese rice paste resist technique, before undergoing a final over-dye in our 100% organic honey indigo vat, resulting in layered tones of deep purple with natural variations unique to every garment. This item is individually hand-printed and hand-painted using 100% natural dyes, resulting in subtle variations that make each piece truly unique.
