Each piece is then carefully hand-resisted using the traditional Japanese rice paste resist technique, before being over-dyed and layered six times in our organic honey indigo vat, resulting in deep indigo tones with natural variations unique to every garment. This item is individually hand-printed and hand-painted using 100% natural dyes, resulting in subtle variations that make each piece truly unique.
