Details: This porcelain bowl is handcrafted in Hasami, Japan — a town celebrated for over 400 years of ceramic tradition. Hasami ware is known for its delicate balance of form and function, created through a meticulous process where skilled artisans throw, glaze, and fire each piece with precision. The signature horizontal stripes are hand-applied, reflecting the quiet discipline of Japanese craftsmanship. Paired with a hand-crocheted cloth, made by our all-women team in the Himalayas, it can serve as a cover or a base, adding a layer of warmth and texture to the object. A one-of-one collectible from our Objects line — it will never be repeated.
